The Honorable Mayor Doug Forman of JonesboroArkansas addressed Bethel’s last graduating class during Commencement Activities immediately following Breakfast at ArkansasStateUniversity. Mayor Formon shared with the Graduates that "Education is the Key" to achieving your goals.
Dr. Newkirk of Washington D. C., Chaplaincy Services, read Congratulatory Letters from Governor Mike Bebe and Attorney General Dustin McDaniel to the graduates.
Chancellor Rick McDaniel, PhD
With authority and poise Dr. McDaniel stood before the students and faculty and began his address. His salutation included warm welcomes and thankfulness for being invited to give the Commencement Address. As he continued he challenged our students to "be faithful to your calling and ministry."
"You have done the hard work, turned in the papers, taken the test, and proven yourselves worthy to be here today! Now it is time for you to show your accountability, responsibility and worth not only to your self but to Bethel and those who will employ you. Congratulation to all of you."
Chancellor McDaniel shared many insightful things with the students that they will remember for years and perhaps share them with their children and grandchildren.
