The Certificate Program is designed for students who want to develop, improve and fulfill a role in Christian service. Hours earned may also be applied toward advance programs of study. Admission Requirements: Each student must be a high school graduate or have an acceptable G.E.D., or meet the criteria for Provisional status listed in the catalog.
The student may complete a Certificate Program in 3 areas of study. The total number of hours required for the program is 18-36.
1. Certificate in Biblical Studies
In addition to the 9 hours General Education requirements, 18 hours in Bible and 3 semester hours of electives are required.
2. Certificate in Pastoral Theology
In addition to the 3 hours General Education requirements, 15 hours in Bible, 3 hours in church history, 6 hours in basic theology and 3 hours of electives are required.
3. Certificate in Christian Counseling
In addition to the 3 hours General Education requirements, 19 hours in Christian Counseling, 12 hours Bible-related hours
